Kids Center Running Club

When: Every Thursday, starting May 31st through August 9th 8:00 AM

Where: Seneca Park Loop

Goal: Improve your health and fitness levels with the help of Julie Massey. The end goal is to be able to complete a 5k to be determined in August or September.

Cost: $100

Who: Current Kids Center clients. Family running partners are welcome to train along side participants. Volunteers training partners will be provided if needed.

Funtastic Fridays this summer

When: Fridays starting June 8th through July 27th 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM

Central Campus: 6/15, 6/29, 7/13 & 7/27
East Campus: 6/8, 6/22, 7/6 & 7/20

Goal: We know our kids and their families work hard all year long in therapy. So during the summer we wanted to bring you FUN! Rotating themes such as water day, superhero day, sports day, and a carnival day.

Cost: $124 per half session (4 Fridays) or $248 per full session (all 8 Fridays). Now offering a pay by day option throughout the summer as space allows with one week’s advance notice $31 per 2 hour session.

Who: Priority will be given to current Kids Center clients of all ages/abilities and their siblings, but up to 5 slots per session are open to participants who are not currently receiving services at the Kids Center.

FUNtastic Fridays with Elevate Recreation

Face 2 Face Friends (a social thinking concepts camp)

When: June 25th through June 29th 9:00AM– 1:30 PM

Where: East Campus

Goal: This camp will focus on an introduction to social thinking concepts such as intentionally analyzing your own thoughts as well as the thought of others, taking perspective, being flexible, conversations, emotions, and what it means to be a friend.

Cost: $365 per child

Who: Designed for upper elementary to middle school students. This camp is ideal for those who are unable to meet with a group throughout the school year or those who have completed our year long independent level social skills group (this is not a prerequisite).

Social Butterflies (a social skills camp for beginners)

When: July 9-12 9:00AM– 11:00 AM

Where: East Campus

Goal: Develop skills interacting such as turn taking, body space, emotions and cooperative play.

Cost: $240 Per child

Who: Designed for 4-5 year olds as an introduction for being part of a social group.

Deadline to register: June 20, 2018

Summer Crab Crabbers ( handwriting)

When: July 30th– August 2nd 9:00AM– 11:00 AM

Where: Central Campus

Goal: Address foundation skills needed for good penmanship. Focusing on fine motor development, shape and directional line concepts, and basic strokes that are the building blocks for writing in kindergarten as well as early primary grades.

Cost: $280

Who: Designed for children 4-5 years old, participants should be able to communicate, follow directions in a small group setting, and need to be able to work independently as well as with others.

Summer Print Wizards (handwriting)

When: July 30th– August 2nd 12:30PM– 2:30PM

Where: Central Campus

Goal: A review of letter sequences within writing lines will remediate common hand-writing errors. Small motor activities will promote successful pencil grasp and motion when writing. We will use a multi-sensory approach to make handwriting FUN!

Cost: $280

Who: Print Wizards is intended for children in early primary grades who need help fine tuning their penmanship skills using manuscript.

Baby University Basic Development 101

When: To be determined

Where: Central Campus

Goal: Master PT will present 60 minutes with Q & A to follow on identification of red flags, toy and activity recommendations for your baby, and more. Child care available.

Cost: $10

Who: Expectant parents, parents or caregivers of children 0-18 months
